Born in the Blue Line, Clifden Silver’s powerful physique comes from the Sires side – “Coosheen Thyme” – “Coosheen Finn” – a Clifden Champion and “Bridge Boy” a Clifden Winner also.
Clifden Silvers performance comes from his Dams side; “Boden Park Finnard” – whose sire is “Ashfield Sparrow” a full brother of “Ashfield Bobby Sparrow” who needs no introduction.
“Bunowen Castle Lady” is also the Dam of “Bunowen Castle Rí” who was a prolific stallion in the UK; HOYS Champion 2005 and Olympia M&M supreme champion in both 2005 and 2007.
“Power Station’s” sire Carna Dun is the Thoroughbred Little Heaven.
Clifden Silver is a former International Showjumping Stallion and Puissance Champion having won the Bonniconlon Puissance at 1.65m.
He proved he still had it when he qualified for the High Performance Final in Clifden in 2022 at 1.10m and also taking part and clearing the Puissance wall at 1.35m at 21 years of age.
